National Stamping Day Celebration--Our Create Kindness Kit

Close To My Heart 

has done it again with this wonderful kit 

designed so you can spread a little kindness.

Here is what I did with this kit:

 Yes, I did use our wonderful Shin Han markers to color the images but here are other special touches I put on:

As is so easy to do with our My Acrylix stamps, I cut apart the word and the flower on four of the stamps in the kit.  I stamped the flower bunch on the envelope flap and on the circles included.  I colored in the images and then on the circle, I made holes around a smaller circle with my pokey tool and connected the holes with a journaling pen to make "faux stitching."  For the color coordinated knot, I simply colored the Whisper Thick Twine Z3093, $3.95 with a Shin Han Marker I had used to color and VOILA!!!! a matching embellishment! 
I stamped the four saying stamps on the outside of the envelopes and colored in the one word with our watercolor pencils, no water.  (The markers will bleed through.)  If you order your Create Kindness kit from me, I will send you a little package with some extras so you can jazz up your cards too!

Make the Four sets of pages with the Jeepers Creepers

Workshop Your Way kit this month.

 The third set of pages has words I added "not so" if you want them.  I also will be supplying a good amount of White Daisy cardstock for photo mounts that are not in the kit.  Cost is $30 if you get it from me or you can order G1110 through my online business address at the shopping cart above.  Because we need time to get the kits in, you need to order or let me know 12 days before the class.  
Stamp of the Month Project
Make these little 3x3 cards and Mini Pizza Box to hold them for a $15 order before shipping and tax.  This can be on any time my schedule says, "Card Buffet" in the schedule below.  

 

Card Buffet for Autumn cards in September.

 Here's how it works:  I will have a basket for each card you see here with several of the same card in the basket.  You pick a basket and make as many of that card as you wish.  Cost is $2 per card.  For every friend you bring, the price of your cards goes down $.25.  So pick a date, bring a friend or two plus your adhesive and let's have a wonderful evening together.  Check my schedule and let me know you plan on coming.  We are preparing for a move so I need to know you are coming in case I need to change location.

August Heart Art Classes and Schedule

Magical for August

While the Magical papers are just perfect for your Disney trip, they are also quite suitable for many other pictures.  Come to my Heart Art Class and make all four layouts for $30.  If you wish to make the cards, the card bases and envelopes will be an extra $3.00 for the nine cards.  Remember this cost means I have everything cut and bagged for you.  You just bring your scissors and adhesive!  Here are the layouts:

I may be adding more classes for the month.  We have to make a trip to OK to look at houses to move to since we are selling our home.  Look for updates or email me if you need an alternate date.

 The WYW has the materials to make the cards.  I furnish the stamps and inks so the only charge if you purchase the kit is $3 for the card bases and envelopes.  If you have your own

June 2016 Heart Art Projects and Schedule

The URBAN paper packet was the choice to make the June projects.

First the SCRAPBOOK PLUS

Make the three masculine layouts for $26.  They will be cut and ready for you to assemble.

You will also have the supplies in your packet for the four cards.  

If you need the card bases and envelopes, it will be an extra $1.50.

(Some of you may already have the Colonial White card bases and envelopes)

Should you decide you would like the stamps with the kit, order G1103 for $29.95.

one week notice so I can have your projects prepared for you. 

The project using the Stamp of the Month is a bit different in July.

You can create this 6x6 album for vacation pictures for $10 outright -or-

 $5 if you have a $15 minimum order before shipping and tax.

This front of your folio is super cute if you want to order a state stamp ($2.95 each) to show the

Celebrating National Scrapbooking Month

in May, I will be offering these projects using the

Happy Times paper packet.

First, the three layout class

You can either submit an order for the products needed to make the pages (remember if you have a $60 order you get the Happy Times paper packet FREE) or you can pay me $28 and I will have everything ready except the PML Gold watercolor cards.  These say "love this life"  "picture perfect" etc on the layouts.

Valuing what we do--preserving memories

At our Scrap and Stamp With Heart

One regular person attending our scrapbook weekends was absent this time. Our dear friend Lori Rink left this life the day after our October weekend together. Her companion at the weekends, Tanya Dunbar,

remembered that Lori had created these pages in 2013 and Lori's family gladly gave them to Tanya. As testimony to how fulfilling and important preserving our memories are, Tanya brought these pages, now a priceless treasure, to show us. Lori's family donated some of Lori's Close To My Heart scrapbooking supplies to the Operation Smile silent auction. I am happy to report that the proceeds from Lori's things paid for one complete surgery plus some. Lori will be honored in the smile of a child. Another priceless treasure.

April's Heart Art Classes and Schedule

How wonderful to be able to offer this 4 layout class using Regatta

in the month of April.  These pages were designed by fellow consultant Tina Lovell

 If you wish to make these pages, you need to order the

There are extra papers required here so there will be an additional $10 charge to complete the project.  Please let me know ASAP if you wish to make these pages so the materials

can be prepared for you.  

Here are the Stamp of the Month cards for the month.

You will doing some random stamping, cutting apart that paper, 

then putting your cards together.  I used Marian Quackenbush's designs

to bring this project to you.  You make the cards free with a minimum

$15 order before shipping and tax.
