For convention, CTMH gave us five Studio J layouts to create using their instructions.  I learned so much!  I would love to share techniques with you.  When I arrive back home I will start asking if you would be interested in getting together to create works of art of your own--with Studio J.

July 2012 Cards and Pages

The cards and pages for July use the Superhero papers.  The pages can be also be used perfectly for some 4th of July pictures.  The cards are made with the July Stamp of the Month stamps.  You may make either the cards or pages at a playgroup or a gathering you schedule with me.  I would love to show you how!

 

CREATIVE OPPORTUNITIES IN JUNE

For any PLAYGROUP you can pick from either the cards or the pages as your project.  I furnish the materials so you can create and walk away with a finished project.  The cost is a minimum $15 product order so you can build your own supplies.  Please call me to let me know you want to come so I can have your materials prepared.

CARDS FOR JUNE

Have a little whimsical fun stamping these three cards with the June Stamp of the Month, Life Is Tweet.  To make the cards either bring your own Bitty Pearls or purchase some from me for an additional $1.  (We use lots of pearls!)  Featured on the cards will be the techniques of paper piecing, creating the tripod card and some ruffle folding.  The card projects are free(except for the pearls)  with a minimum $15 product order .   Check the schedule and see your time to attend playgroup.  Great Fun!

SCRAPBOOK PAGES FOR  JUNE

Taking our cue from the Leading Lady pattern in Imagine, you will easily layer your page in June with the Stella papers.  I have used the Stella  Canvas Complements to finish off my pages.  You may easily purchase the Complements for your own pages as they will not be furnished.   Another feature you will enjoy is the pull out journaling box cut on the Cricut using our Art Philosophy cartridge.  Choose the pages  as your project and they will be free with a minimum $15 product order.

Pam's Heart Art Exclusive Kit for May

This mini-album is big enough to hold nine wallet photos and little enough to carry easily in your bag.  It comes in  a protective  plastic sleeve to keep it looking wonderful.  You can purchase the kit outright for $5.  If I need to mail it, there will be an additional $2 charge.  -Or- if you submit a $30 order outside of the playgroup, the kit will be FREE even if I have to mail it.  Any playgroup member submitting a $50 order will get the kit FREE.  My exclusive kit is an added service to say "thank you" for using me as your Close To My Heart Independent Consultant.

May's Creative Opportunity Schedule

I hope you will take a look at the cards and pages for May, decide which project you would like to make and contact me to join a group.
Scrapbookers need to bring the Bitty Pearls and Bouquet assortment if you have them.  You will also need your scrapbook ruler, scissors and adhesive.
Card Makers please bring your scissors, adhesive, 3-D foam tape, watercolor pencils and waterbrush.  Don't have all of these things?  I have things you can borrow.  It is always helpful if you bring your own.
So I can be prepared, please call me at 285-9230 if you want to attend.

Coming Saturday, June 2nd at Crown Peak Baptist Church in Parachute, Scrap and Stamp With Heart.  Call me if you would like to attend..  There are only 40 spaces and the fee is $5 which will go toward the church's Haiti mission trip.  9 AM to 8 PM.  You bring your own food.

Playgroup Cards for May

Create these oh-so-cheerful sunflower cards at playgroup in May using the may Stamp of the Month and Pemberley papers.  We will emboss with Cocoa embossing powder and color the flowers with our watercolor pencils and waterbrush.  You will love the results.  Please let me know if you wish to attend a playgroup session this month.  You will find it to be a relaxing and fun social time and walk away with a great finished project.

Scrapbook Pages for May Playgroup

Using the beautifully blue Pemberley papers, you will create this 2 page layout using the stamps from the Pemberley Workshop on the Go kit.  All piecesfor the playgroup pages  will be cut and ready to go for you.  Special features are the use on this layout of Bitty Pearls and the Bouquet Assortment Z1694 both part of the WOTG kit.  Those items will be something you need to supply for the playgroup pages.  Please check my schedule and let me know if you want to attend a playgroup in May.  A special joy for me was that I put these pages together and discovered the pictures would look great when I went to take pictures that evening.  How fun!

This is Dotty For You layout I created.  So much fun!  The left page was modeled after the single page suggested on the Dotty insert and the right page was inspired by my wonderful upline Karen Pedersen.
If you click on the picture you can view it larger.  Seren's mother will add her journaling to the overlay on the left page.  I used my Cricut and the Art Philosophy Cricut Collection from CTMH for all those circles.  The Dotty For You packet is 24 sheets (12 different designs) with a print on one side and dotted papers in various colors on the other.  So versatile!  And Dotty is available through May.  How great is that?

Pam's Heart Art Kit for April

Our Art Philosophy Cricut Collection was used to cut the embellishment.  It can be found on page 13 and the collection is $99.00.  I love my AP cartridge which is only available through a CTMH consultant.

Playgroup Projects for April

• April's pages and card projects highlight the Victory papers. Click on picture to get a larger view.

 The cards use the techniques of distressing with our sanding kit and heat embossing on ink stamped images with clear detail powder to enhance the Stamp of the Month set S1204A.  By the way, the Stamp of the Month is either $17.95 by itself or only $5 with a $50 order. The entire set is pictured on page 141 of the Idea Book.
 The pages have the unique look created by hexagons placed in a honeycomb configuration.  The layout was inspired by the single page in the Idea Book on page 35 and the pocket page was inspired by consultants Christina Eisenhauer and Jennifer Rubio. 

Card makers please bring your sanding kit (especially a block), scissors and adhesive.
Scrapbookers should bring adhesive and scissors along with a pencil.

March calendar for creative Opportunities

Come to a Playgroup and make either the cards or the scrapbook pages for the month.  The cost is a minimum $15 order plus shipping and tax.  Scrapbookers need to bring Liquid Glass, Blush ink, a sponge dauber, finishing files and a glue pen if you have them.  Card makers need to bring 3-D foam tape, Liquid Glass, Grey Wool and Blush ink pages if you have them.  Don't worry if you are new and do not have these items.  Just scissors and adhesive will work.  Please let me know which date you would like to attend.  It is always a lot of fun!

Gathering Projects for March

Host a creative Close To My Heart party so you and your guests can make this lovely single page suitable for a shadowbox frame and a card featuring the Stamp of the Month, Potential.  Both items have shapes made with the Art Philosophy Cricut Collection.  Don't you just love the roses?  So easy!  You and your guests will have the opportunity to preorder the letters for your title specifically selected to say what you want.  This might even be a pretty display for Mother's Day!

March Scrapbook Project--the beginnings

I am super excited to guide you in making the roses, leaves and butterfly to grace the March pages.  All three shapes are cut from the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge and each shape has a "special secret" to achieve the look you see here.

For March Playgroups--Card Projects

Our card projects will be made using the Lucy kit colors and the March Stamp of the Month--Potential.  Come try your hand at the shadow stamping.  You will find it easy yet impressive!  Add a few of the Bitty Pearls, Art Philosophy shapes and your 3-D foam tape and you will have a work of art worth sharing.  The new stamp set "Just a Number" will be available in case you want to make cards ready for birthdays to come.
