Welcome to 2016!  

We have new products to offer and I am offering some

new Heart Art Classes that may appeal to your 

creative sense as well.

Let's start with my Stamp of the Month Class.

In this class you will make the three cards pictured below FREE for a minimum $15 order.

 This stamp set comes with sentiments for use as 

Valentine cards as well. (see the picture of the stamp set in the post below.)

 

Reserve your space for a  Cardmaker Supreme Class (10 cards total --5 of each design) and pay $15.  Here are the two designs you will make.  I furnish all materials plus the card bases, envelopes and embellishments for you to create your ten cards.

I will have additional sentiment stamps on hand so you may make them say whatever you wish.

(A few of the papers may be changed but the effect will remain the same.)

 And now, introducing the Charlotte Workshop Your Way to take

the place of my Scrapbook Plus.  You will be able to make the following three 2-page layouts, a two page pocket layout and NINE cards.  Note: you will need to furnish your own card bases and envelopes for the cards.  I am purchasing the Thin Cuts and stamp set for the cards for you to use.

Here are the pictures of what you can make with this kit.  If you order online through my little shopping cart at the top, the kit is $26.95 for G1104 and card bases and envelopes are X254 $14.95 for the value pack of 50. If you order G1104 online, you will be given a link to print out full instructions for cutting the papers and making the layouts and cards.  How great is that?

I will have four different Valentine Cards designed in January  and ready for you to make.  

Come at a scheduled time and make as many of the cards as you wish for $1.50 each.

January 2016 Stamp of the Month Bloghop

What a BEAUTIFUL way to start the new year!

Welcome to our January Stamp of the Month Blog Hop.

I was very excited about our new Workshops Your Way named
CHARLOTTE and the lovely soft colors with which it is made (G1104).
When you order this WYW kit, you will be able to print instructions for THREE
2-page layouts , two pages of the pocket scrapbook layout, and instructions for a set of
NINE cards from three designs.
The more I looked at the Charlotte WYW cards the more I thought they would be 
perfect for using Beloved Bouquet stamps.  Here is what I came up with......

Colors used for the stamping are Sorbet (2nd generation for the background then
1st generation for the overlay of the flower), Sweet Leaf for the base of the leaves with an
overlay of Topiary, and Whisper for the Baby's Breath stamp.  Decorate with a few 
Bitty sparkles and your cards are complete.

September Projects and Schedule

Here are a couple of the class projects I have prepared for September

 These are the three cards you will make if you select my Stamp of the Month Class.

Make all three FREE when you have a $15 order before shipping and tax.

The stamp set used is $17.95 or only $5 with a $50 purchase.  I used the new

Eggplant ink with Whisper  ink and Sweet Leaf and Eggplant cardstock for these cards.

You will make 5 each of these cards in my Cardmaker Supreme Class in 

September.  The cost is $15 with everything furnished to make 10 cards.  

I will have several sentiment stamps available for you to add to your cards.

July Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

LIFE IS WONDERFUL!

 I decided to use the Bokeh technique with my July projects 
and it is so much fun.

 Here we have two cards with the Bokeh technique on a Cricut cut. The project in the middle is little fold out album you can easily carry in your bag.  It will hold five photos.

Here is the inside of one card and the way the foldout album looks for 
showing your "wonderful" pictures!
I put the album in a trimmed 4x6 Flip Flap for protection.

July Heart Art Schedule

It is easy to see how time flies because it already heading into another month

and you need more creative projects.  I hope one catches your fancy and you

will let me know you want to be creative.  Classes in my home will have

cool air and soothing music so please join me for some refreshment!

 The Stamp of the Month projects will be two cards and one fold-out album in a protector.

All use the Bokeh technique which is something new for me to teach to you.

The Scrapbook Plus Class for July uses the Chalk It Up paper kit and complements.

Make two complete layouts and six cards for $25.  Everything is cut and ready to assemble.

You may decide to use these for school related pictures or something completely different.

May Stamp of the Month Bloghop

Welcome as you have arrived from Kathleen's Blog
I am sure you have been blessed with many ideas for this stamp set.

 I chose to make Sunburst cards using these stamps and our 
Taste Of Summer papers available only in May.

Let me show you how to make a Sunburst card!

Cut three pieces of paper or cardstock to a 4 x 5 1/4 inch size.
Here I used some of the orange paper from Taste of Summer and it's opposite side
along with Topiary cardstock.

Stack the three sheets on top of each other and make cuts through all three pieces
that end at one point (at the bottom here).

Separate the paper pieces and arrange them so they will fit on a piece of cardstock
4 x 5 1/4.  Glue them into place.  You may either leave a narrow space between pieces as 
shown in the lemon cards at the top, or glue all pieces next to each other.
If you leave a space, you will need to trim pieces since they will hang over the edge
of the 4 x 5 1/4 base.
Mount on a standard card base  (5 1/2 x 8 1/2 folded in half) and you will have
a border around the edge.  
The other papers in Taste of Summer have strawberries with a pink reverse side,
lemons with a yellow side, limes with a flowered side and a 
variety fruit page with a dark pink reverse. Be watching for the posts about 
Taste of Summer.

Some Taste of Summer Samples

Close To My Heart is featuring the Taste of Summer papers in May to celebrate

National Scrapbooking Month.

You can purchase a set of these papers for $8.95.  There are six different papers and you

get 2 of each.  There is a coordinating reverse side to the papers.   Here are some things I have made with the papers to give you an idea of how fresh and fun they are!  The reverse side is the medallion background for the Sweet Treats stamp.

Here we go for May 2015.  I hope you will see a project you would like to do and either check my schedule to see when you could attend or contact me to have your own party with your friends.

 The Stamp of the Month cards will be made with the Taste of Summer papers available in May

and I will be instructing you in how to make the Sunburst design cards.  So bright and

cheerful!  Make three cards FREE when you submit a minimum $15 order before shipping and tax.  By the way, you may purchase the Taste of Summer papers for $8.95!

 My Scrapbook Plus for May uses the Jackson papers.  Make 2 complete layouts and six cards for $29.  All pieces will be cut and ready for you to put together.  This is a little more than usual because I used the Jackson accessories this time.  

 The Cardmaker Supreme will be $15.  Make 5 each of the cards shown here.  I will have several

sentiment stamps that you may use to finish the inside of your cards.
