To do the best thing for the schools and community, listening sessions are being started on March 5th.
"As you may know, GPS is in the process of a comprehensive facility assessment to help us identify future building needs and opportunities. This will allow us to gather the important building-related research and data needed to develop a quality, long-term capital investment plan.
We have timely improvements and upgrades to address, of course – but that’s just the beginning of what can be accomplished. We can enhance our facilities to support and strengthen opportunities for today’s learners.
We are now ready to embark on the next, most important, step: listening to the community and gathering opinions and ideas to make decisions for the future. Our planning efforts over the next several months will include conversations with students, parents, teachers, administrators and community members. They will ask for your feedback about district offerings, current school buildings, possible facility solutions and more."
