My New JN Project Classes

A wonderful thing is happening in our family.  We are expecting our 15th grandchild--by adoption. Our daughter's family is in the process of adopting an 11 year old boy from the Philippines.  He is currently in a Christian orphanage.  Last summer he came to USA with a group and he met K& D's family and even spent a couple days with them.  He perfectly fits in the 5 year gap between the first two boys.  So many details have been orchestrated by God and we are so excited that this is happening.
As you know, adoption is very expensive.  I have been trying to think of a way I could help with the expense through this blessing of a business.  Here is the plan:  Each month I will have a BYOP (bring your own paper) project for $5.  For that fee you will receive the project instructions.  You will cut and assemble the project yourself using your own supplies that you may have on hand.   (no paper?  you are welcome to purchase some from my stash.  $.60 per sheet of cardstock and $.50 per sheet of Background and Texture paper.)  If it is possible for you to come to my home to put it together, you can join the fun.  If you would like to have the instructions but are a distance away, I can email them to you for the $5.  A printed copy that I would mail would be $6.
I am excited about this to help you use your "stuff" and help with the adoption at the same time.
JN are the initials of the boy who will be adopted, thus the name of the project.
The first JN Project is for the Star Album pictured here.

Here you see the Star Album closed.
This way it can be folded away when it is
not on display.

The album is basically 6x6 when closed and
6 inches tall when unfolded.  Therefore it would
be about 12 inches across when open.
This view shows why we call it a Star album.  Now imagine it in cardstock and papers you want to use.  You need 9 pieces of cardstock and paper in total (3 for each layer) , a piece of cardboard 4 1/4 x 6, 2 ribbon pieces 13" long each, strong adhesive, (I would recommend our Base and Bling Adhesive Strips Z1904, $4.95 page 76 of current Idea Book), and of course your embellishments. I printed all the pictures and the journaling spots in Studio J for this album.
Please email me at pajarrett@comcast.net to order your instructions or reserve your spot around my table either Friday morning 9:30 or Friday evening at 6:30 on November 15th.
