Some notes about these cards:  The yellow and black one in the middle was designed by Maker Terri Howard.  The card on the right used a special technique for making woodgrain paper that would helpful to learn.  I will gladly tell you how to do that.  So easy! 

There are instructions for several Daisy, Daisy projects right on the website above the pictures of the supplies left.  Several use the stamps.  You can use the stamps with other papers and end up with some delightful results.

Now and Forever for February

 For the month of February

I have chosen to use our Now and Forever Collection.

Yes it is good for Valentine's Day but

I would also suggest the stamps could be used to

make special wedding cards.

Here are some ideas for making your own background papers

using the cardstock pack, the Seabrook, Desert Rose, and Scarlet inks and the stamps.  One design also used the White Gel Pen

Fopur Seasons Winter for January

 I am celebrating January with cards

made from the Winter papers in the

 Four Seasons Collection

from our Core Products catalog.

I chose to add some snowflakes made with

Snowflakes Thin Cuts Z8056 and White Glitter Paper Z3237

for that added sparkle.  

The pattern for the cards came from Winter collection in the Four Seasons offerings featured this month.  You can print out the directions from my website!  Here is a video of the different seasons scrapbook pages and cards.  Note: the truck stamp set is no longer available, sadly.

Christmas Story Prepares for that Special Season

To get ready for Christmas card giving

I chose the Christmas Story papers

and the One Star, One Night, One Child stamp set

 

Here are the cards I came up with: 

 

 

The main technique I used was embossing the image.

The two outer cards are embossed in white, Z2068 while the center

card was embossed on Sage cardstock with Clear powder, Z2088,

and shaded in with Pine ink. 

Here is the pattern for the center card.  You may write your greeting on the back behind the tree.

Maple Leaf and Gratitude Dies featured in October.

 Beautiful Leaves for Fall and Thanksgiving

This month I have chosen to feature techniques with some of our dies.  You, too, can make these!

I used these dies:

Both packages are on 3x3 magnets

Gratitude Thin Cuts Z4085  $12.95

Maple Leaf Thin Cuts Z4083  $12.95

 

Here are the products I used to make the focal points

on the cards:

Technique to make a whole leaf and the cutout:  

Cut out leaves from Honey Butter cardstock.

Glue two negatives together.

For the whole leaf, trace onto Toffee cardstock using the inside

of the template you glued together as a guide.

Using the daubers, sponge color onto both the Honey Butter

and Toffee leaves.

Accent colored leaves with a Gold Shimmer brush Z3316 .

These would make great Fall or Thanksgiving cards.

Backyard Bliss Graces August

I selected the Backyard Bliss Cardmaking Workshop (G1260)

for August creativity. It features stamps and Thin Cuts

of a barrell and wheel barrow with delightful inserted

flower arrangements.

This time I chose to make a change to the kit by using some of the

Tri-blend Markers for coloring in the images. 

You will definitely need the Intense Black pad for stamping the image

before you color.  

I used these markers:  Z2491 True Blue, Z2486  Dull Green,

 Z2516  Gold Brown Blends, and Z2496 Pale Pink

Love Story for June

I chose to feature the Love Story papers,

Black Collection (at the top) for my June projects

These papers are in our Core catalog which will be active

until August 31st.  I love the designs for a special occasion

where only a handmade remembrance will do!

The layout below (from the catalog) had wonderful color 

combinations with Mulberry and Sangria to offset the 

\Black Love Story papers.

My featured cards show how to paint on the floral

paper with inks.  The Mulberry Glitter paper adds a 

special sparkle sure to please.

 The May Flowers are coming out in a kit from Close To My Heart

to Celebrate National Scrapbook Day.  There will be an Online Guided

Workshop to assemble this 16 card kit during the

National Scrapbooking Day Celebration on May 6 & 7 through

February with Udderly Wonderful and Mix-ins

 Just couldn't let February end without sharing what I did with the

Udderly Wonderful stamps (C1922) and Mix-ins (X9036) 

from the January-February catalog.  

I took the design for the tag card and the one on the easel

from the catalog.  The other two were inspired by another consultant.

I used various methods to color the cow.

 

The top two used watercolor pencils with Intense Black ink.

The bottom two used Tri-blend markers that we carry with Intense Black ink.

That ink does not smudge or run when you get it wet!.

IF YOU LIKE THE STAMPS, they will still be available after the end of

February.  The Thin Cuts have sold out.   The images are super easy to

cut out so don't deprive yourself of this fun set.

You will save a little on the cost and still have lots of fun with the lovely cow

and her "sides."

  They bring a smile to everyone who sees them.

Holly and Ivy Highlighted in October

 Get ready for Christmas Early!

I used the Holly and Ivy Cardmaking Workshop Kit ,

G1240 for $29.95

to make four of each card.

I did make a couple changes.  To the trees, I added red ribbon bows and 

to the ornaments I added gold  ribbon bows.

Should you order this kit, I will send you 8 red ribbon bows and 8 gold ribbon bows.

You will need to gold emboss four tree cards and four ornament cards.

This makes them extra elegant!  This kit is available through the end of October only.

July Stamp of the Month-Strong Roots

I am creating in July using the July Stamp of the Month

Strong Roots.

Here are the designs I used to bring this stamp set to life.

The item on the easel is a little album made with 4 x 4 Flip Flaps.

 

Then inside the cards:

See how the insides of the cards all featured stamps from this set?

I chose papers from the Wood Grain Paper Packet  X8017

paired with Sage and Sangria cardstock and colored in with Tri-Blend Markers

to compliment the designs.  Paper piecing was employed to accent the door in

the door stamp.  Note, when using the Tri-Blend markers , you need to stamp 

and color them on a separate piece of cardstock then cut them out and glue to your card because 

the markers will bleed through the card base.
